With their antique look, the Woodspirits are very popular among collectors. Among Clark’s many fans, some of the most famous were best-selling author Stephen King, actor Bob Newhart, and former first lady Barbara Bush.
Tom Clark sculpted the faces of his gnomes with toothpicks. No 2 faces are ever alike. The details are very sweet and a pleasure to observe. Each piece comes with its own story. This particular piece is a member of edition 59 and copyrighted 1991.
They have been well taken care of and resided behind glass for 30 years.
